Honor Robot Phone pre-orders open in China, key specifications are revealed
Honor has officially opened reservations for its upcoming Robot Phone in China ahead of its expected launch in August. Alongside the reservation announcement, the company has also confirmed several AI features and hardware highlights of the device.
Honor Robot Phone pre-orders now live
Customers can now reserve the Honor Robot Phone through the company’s official online stores in China. Honor is also offering several reservation benefits, including a lifetime YOYO AI SVIP membership, one year of gimbal replacement service, a full accessory bundle, up to 24 months of interest-free installments, and trade-in discounts of up to CNY 2,000. Offline buyers will need to pay a CNY 1,000 deposit to secure priority purchase.
Honor Robot Phone specifications and features
The Honor Robot Phone first debuted at MWC 2026 as the first commercial product under Honor’s Alpha strategy. Its biggest highlight is a built-in four-degree-of-freedom robotic gimbal made from titanium alloy.
The camera module stays hidden inside the phone and automatically extends in just 0.8 seconds when needed. It supports 360-degree subject tracking, intelligent camera movement, and CIPA 5.5-level mechanical image stabilization.
For photography, the Robot Phone is rumored to feature a 200MP primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. Honor has also partnered with ARRI to bring Log-C video recording and professional LUT color profiles.
The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.3-inch to 6.4-inch 1.5K flat display with ultra-slim bezels. Under the hood, it could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and support 120W fast charging.
On the software side, the device will run Honor’s YOYO AI model with features like emotion recognition and proactive task execution. Interestingly, the robotic camera module can also move during AI interactions, allowing it to act as a physical expression system.
Honor has yet to announce the official launch date, but the Robot Phone is expected to debut in China this August.
