Honor Power3 tipped to pack 10,000mAh+ battery, larger 7-inch display

A new leak has revealed fresh details about the upcoming Honor Power3. While earlier rumors hinted at an 11,000mAh or even 12,000mAh battery, the latest information suggests Honor may stick with a slightly smaller capacity.

Honor Power3 key details tipped on Weibo

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor Power3 will feature a battery with a capacity of at least 10,000mAh. That means it could match or slightly exceed the 10,080mAh battery found in the Honor Power2, instead of making the bigger jump suggested by earlier leaks.

The leak also claims that the Honor Power3 will feature a larger 7-inch flat display, up from the 6.79-inch panel on its predecessor. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to use a MediaTek Dimensity 8-series chipset. However, the exact processor remains unclear.

Honor could either retain the Dimensity 8500 Elite used in the Power2 or switch to a newer Dimensity 8600-series chip if it becomes available before launch.

The Company has yet to confirm any details about the Power3. If the company follows its previous launch schedule, the smartphone is still several months away. More leaks will reveal additional specifications in the coming months.
