Honor 80 GT just declared with SD 8 Gen 1+ and 54MP main camera

Honor 80 GT just declared with SD 8 Gen 1+ and 54MP main camera. Honor has recently introduced another member of the Honor 80 family, and this one will be known as the Honor 80 GT. The Honor 80 GT is positioned between the Honor 80 Pro and the base model, although it is much more similar to the Honor 80 Pro because it is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 system on a chip.

The 80 GT features a smaller 6.67-inch OLED screen than the 80 Pro, which has a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. However, it still boasts a 10-bit color depth, 100% DCI-P3, 1,400 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor may be used with either 12 or 16 gigabytes of random access memory, but the storage capacity remains at 256 gigabytes.

There is a strong possibility that alternative storage options will be available for the international edition of this phone; however, only time will tell for sure. I am intrigued by the camera configuration on the back of the device. The primary camera is a Sony IMX800 with 54 megapixels and a 1/1.49-inch sensor, and it has an aperture of f/1.9.

However, the ultrawide camera on the smartphone only has 8 megapixels and an f/2.2 aperture, which could be better. Another macro camera with a resolution of 2 megapixels is on the agenda. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels and an f/2.4 aperture.

The Honor 80 GT has a battery capacity of 4,800 mAh and is compatible with Honor’s 66W fast charging protocol. Additionally, the smartphone comes with Android 12 and Magic UI 7.0, which is less than ideal considering that Android 13 was introduced in October.

The Honor showcases characteristics such as compact 1,415 copper wires and a huge vapor chamber with a surface area of 4,386mm2 for increased cooling. A graphene sheet with a thickness of 74 millimeters has also been included. Because this is a Chinese launch, Honor has only disclosed pricing for the Chinese market. CNY 3,299 (about $475) is the starting price for the variant with 12GB RAM, while CNY 3,599 (about $520) is the price for the option with 16GB RAM. Black, blue, and white are the colors that may be selected.
