HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G launched with Dimensity 6300, 64MP main camera, and a 6,000mAh battery
HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G launched in India with vibes at a low price. It brings major upgrades over the HMD Vibe 2 5G, but will cost INR 5,000 more. It goes on sale on October 8 through Flipkart.
HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G Specifications
The HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G features a 6.78-inch 120Hz FHD+ LCD panel. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, along with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs on Andriod 16 and will get two years of security updates. However no OS upgrade is expected.
On the rear camera, it features a dual camera setup including a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 13MP selfie camera on the front.
A 6,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging powers this device. This is an astonishingly significant upgrade over its predecessor at this price point. The phone has dual stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
HMD has also added Indus by Sarvam, an AI assistant that supports more than 22 Indian languages. It can help you write drafts, ask questions, and plan tasks in your preferred language. The phone also supports the Sanchar Saathi app, which provides various telecom safety tools.
HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G price and availability
The HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G comes in three colors: Silver Mist, Aqua Green, and Cosmic Purple. It will be on sale in two storage options: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB.
The 6GB/128GB model costs Rs 15,999, and the 8GB RAM/128GB model costs Rs 17,999. For a limited time, buyers will get an exclusive discount offer of Rs 1,000. The phone will go on sale through Flipkart from October 8 during the Big Billion Days sale.
