Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro display specifications leaked

Google usually launches its Pixel smartphones in October. This year, we can expect the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro to be unveiled around that time. Android Authority recently shared camera details for these phones, and now they have also leaked some information about the display specifications of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

Leaked details

The leak shows that the Pixel 8 will be smaller than the Pixel 8’s 6.3-inch screen. The Pixel 8 Pro will have a 6.7-inch display like the Pixel 7 Pro, but it will have a flat-screen instead of a curved one. The Pixel 8 series has a slightly less square shape with slightly rounded corners compared to the previous models.

The Pixel 7 had a flat 6.3-inch screen with clear and sharp images. It had a good resolution and a smooth display with a high refresh rate. The Pixel 7 Pro had a larger curved-edge display with even better picture quality. It had a higher resolution and a faster refresh rate for smoother scrolling. Both phones had bright screens that could handle a lot of light.

A new report claims that Pixel 8 has a 6.17-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels), a higher refresh rate (120 Hz), and a bright display (1,400 nits). Google uses Samsung’s OLED displays for Pixel 8, while the Pro model has Samsung’s display panels.

The Pixel 8 Pro has a big 6.70-inch OLED screen. It has a high-quality resolution of 1344 x 2992 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is bright with 1,600 nits of brightness.
