Galaxy S24+ to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen3 SoC in most countries

In 2023, Samsung opted for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips exclusively in all markets for the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. This marked a notable shift from their usual approach of dividing the global market between their Exynos chip and Qualcomm’s latest offerings.

Many critics of Exynos were happy about a potential victory, but it might be short-lived. The S24 Ultra is likely to stick with Snapdragon, while the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ were expected to use Exynos 2400 in some markets. However, a new rumor suggests this may not be the case.

A tip from X suggests that the Galaxy S24+ will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC in most countries globally. The regular S24, on the other hand, seems to be limited to the Exynos 2400.

Be cautious about these rumors. Some sources are suggesting a last-minute change in plans for the upcoming S24 and S24+ smartphones. Initially, reports indicated the Exynos 2400 processor would be used in certain markets, contradicting earlier information. While many would welcome this change, it’s advisable not to celebrate prematurely. Confirmation from reliable leaksters is expected in the next few days, and we’ll keep you updated.
