DCS reveals mystery Redmi K100 device with 7-inch 2K display and 10,000mAh+ battery

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is reportedly working on the upcoming Redmi Note 17 series and Redmi K100 lineup for the Chinese market. While the Note 17 series may arrive in mid-year, the K100 series may launch around October.
A new leak from Digital Chat Station now reveals early details of a mysterious Redmi flagship, which is believed to belong to the K100 family.
Key Specs Leak
According to the leak, the alleged upcoming Redmi K100 series device could feature a large 7-inch 2K display, making it one of the biggest flagship screens in the lineup. The phone may also pack a massive 10,000mAh+ battery, positioning it as a battery-focused powerhouse in the premium segment.

On the durability side, the device may include a metal frame along with IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance. For security, there would be an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Chipset Rumors about the Redmi K100 Pro Max
Earlier leaks suggested that the Redmi K100 Pro Max could use a 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. However, the latest information points toward a 3nm-class processor instead.

At present, there is no confirmed new 3nm Snapdragon 8-series chip for this generation. Instead, possible options include the Dimensity 9500 Plus or Xiaomi’s in-house Xring O3, with the latter appearing more likely based on current reports.
Possible Lineup Expansion
Interestingly, earlier reports suggest that a standard Redmi K100 may feature a 6.6-inch display with an 8,500mAh battery, which differs from the newly leaked specifications. This mismatch raises speculation that the Redmi K100 series could include an additional model positioned above or between the K100 and K100 Pro Max variants.
