The poll is undoubtedly skewed since those who are looking for a compact flagship are more likely to read and vote on a post on the Zenfone 9. Nevertheless, the little phone has a good chance of succeeding in that market, especially given the absence of the Xperia 5 IV.
People debated how the Zenfone 9 may be enhanced beyond software support in the comments. An eSIM, microSD card, and wireless charging were all missing. Price was also brought up, but regardless of size, phones with this level of performance and battery life are not inexpensive.
The Zenfone 8 was released last year at €670, or €600 if you snagged the early bird discount. Even at €800, many appear eager to buy one, which would have been a far more reasonable price for the 9.
