Apple iPhone 18 to arrive in early 2027, key specs leaked
Apple launched the iPhone 18 Pro series a couple of days ago along with its first foldable smartphone, the Apple iPhone Duo. Now, reports claim Apple is moving the regular iPhone 18 to a separate Q1 2027 launch window. The leak also revealed key iPhone 18 specifications in the same post, showing a major upgrade over its predecessor.

According to a reliable leaker, @Saurav_DJ47, the iPhone 18 may feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of brightness. It is going to retain its Ceramic Shield glass and aluminium frame design with a dual camera module on the back. For protection against water and dust, it may offer an IP68 rating.
Under the hood, it may run on an A20 chip, reportedly based on a 2nm process. The RAM configuration remains unclear, whether it will be 9GB or 12GB.
On the rear panel, it will sport a dual camera setup featuring a 48MP main camera along with a 48MP Ultrawide camera. For selfies and video calls, there will be an 18MP front camera. For videography, it may feature 4K 60fps video, Dolby Vision & Cinematic Mode.
The iPhone 18 could pack a roughly 3,990mAh battery, although the exact capacity is unknown, with reports pointing to 40W wired charging and 25W wireless charging. The phone is also expected to support MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging standards.
A previous report claimed that the Apple iPhone 18 may arrive alongside the iPhone 18E and an updated iPhone Air (may be Air3) in the Q1 2027 launch window.
We are still at an early stage, and most of the specs are unconfirmed. So, we have to wait a little bit longer to get the official details from Apple.
