Google says we are just a few weeks from when the update hits supported Pixel devices, with this being the release candidate. With existing bugs squashed, compatibility with Pixel phone’s SDK and NDK system behaviors, improved notification permission, and a revamped photo picker on board, Android 13 delivers new features like themed app icons and per-app language support, and HDR video.

The platform also includes Bluetooth LE Audio, only found on compatible devices at this point, and MIDI 2.0 over USB, which was previously unavailable for Pixel phones running Android V12L. If your Pixel device enrolled in the public beta program, you will receive this new build today or soon after enrolment if you want to try it out firsthand.
