iQOO is reportedly working with multiple iQOO Z-series smartphones. Now, a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that another mid-range smartphone is in development. The leaker revealed some of the key specs without mentioning the name but it will surely be another Z12-series member (most probably the iQOO Z12S).
Mysterious iQOO Z-series smartphone under development
According to the leak from DCS, a mid-range iQOO phone is in the mould stage, indicating that its overall design and dimensions have largely been finalized. The tipster did not reveal the handset’s exact model name, but it could be part of the upcoming iQOO Z12 series.
The mid-range device could launch in China by mid 2027. The alleged Z12-series phone may feature a large 7-inch display and a massive battery with more than 10,000mAh capacity.
Given the reported specifications, the upcoming device could succeed the iQOO Z11S, which arrived in August this year. So, the mid-range device could arrive in market as iQOO Z12S. However, DCS hasn’t revealed the official name, so its identity remains a mystery for now. We will get more info about this device in coming days.
Apart from this, the iQOO Z12 Turbo is on the verge to launch in China. Among other recent Z-series mid-range models, the iQOO Z12x and Z12 Lite for the global market are also already in the process.
