Honor Win RT2 and Turbo2 launched with 2K 185Hz AMOLED and 12,070mAh battery
Honor has finally launched its power-packed flagship Honor Win2 series featuring Win2, Win RT2, and Win Turbo2 in China. Honor Win2 is the top-end model here. However, the Win RT2 and Turbo2 models also feature flagship specifications, even surpassing the Win2 with massive 12,070mAh batteries. We covered the Win2 in a separate post; here we’ll see what the Win RT2 and Turbo2 come with.
Honor Win RT2 and Turbo2 Specifications
The Honor Win RT2 shares some specs with the standard model and the Turbo2 model, and sits perfectly in the middle of the two.
Both the Honor Win RT2 and Turbo2 come with a 6.89-inch 185Hz AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a peak brightness of 10,000 nits.
For performance, the Win RT2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Meanwhile, the Turbo2 offers a less powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Both phones run Android 17-based MagicOS 11 out of the box.
The RT2 model has an in-built active cooling fan that sits within the rear camera module. Honor claims this fan can reduce temperatures by up to 6 degrees Celsius during heavy gaming and multitasking. The software also offers 4 levels of fan speed adjustment. However, there is no cooling fan support for the Turbo model.
For photography, the Win RT2 sports a dual-camera setup on the back, featuring a 200MP main camera with CIPA 6.0 stabilization and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, there is a 50MP selfie camera.
The Win Turbo2 model offers the same selfie camera, a 50MP Sony main sensor, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera at the back.
Both the RT2 and Turbo2 surpass the Win2 model with a massive 12,070mAh battery. This battery supports 90W wired and 27W wired reverse charging. There’s also an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner, IP69K rating, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and GPS in common between the duo.
