Vivo Y32 5G launching October 7 with 8,000mAh battery and IP68/IP69 durability
Vivo teased the Vivo Y32 5G for Bangladesh with an 8,000mAh battery on its official Facebook page. Now, a dedicated webpage is live on Vivo Bangladesh’s website, revealing the specifications and design of the upcoming Vivo Y32 5G. We also got the official launch date; let’s go through all of this.
The Vivo Y32 5G is going to launch in Bangladesh on 7 October with exciting features and specifications at a mid-range budget segment.
Design and Build
Vivo Y32 comes with a dynamic design that evolves with changing light. The Y32 comes in two new signature colours. Twilight Red is a deep red with a soft, velvet-like finish. Sunset Orange is a warm orange with a wave pattern that catches the light.
The back cover is made of composite plastic sheet. There is a Volcanic Crater-shaped camera module on the back with a dual-textured aviation-aluminum metallic finish, and the rounded corners are meant to sit comfortably in the hand.
Display
The Vivo Y32 features a large 6.87-inch 120Hz HD+ LCD display with 1300nits peak brightness, 255PPI pixel density, and 83% NTSC color gamut. The display features ete protection mode and designed with low blue light certification.
Performance and Camera
Under the hood, this device runs on a UniSoc T7300 (6nm) Octa-core CPU paired with 4GB /6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Users can expand storage up to 2TB for further use. On the software side, there will be OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
It offers Game Boost Mode, which optimizes performance to help deliver smoother gaming experience and responsive touch control. vivo also promises a 50-Month Smooth Experience.
The Vivo Y32 features a dual camera setup on the back including a 50MP Wide-Angle Camera and a 2MP Bokeh Camera. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera. To improve photography experience, it comes with AI Erase option to help remove unwanted elements from your shot for a cleaner, more focused look.
Battery
The biggest highlight in the Vivo Y32 is its massive 8,000 mAh BlueVolt battery with 44W FlashCharge support, and reverse charging also. The long-lasting battery offers days of uninterrupted entertainment and productivity. An advanced electrolyte and stable electrode design keeps battery health at 80% or higher after 1500 complete charge cycles, powering you for up to six years.
The device sustains up to 20 hours of short video play back and stable performance in direct sunlight at up to 40-degree Celsius.
Durability
The Vivo Y32 comes with IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It features Wet-Hand Touch and One-Tap Water Ejection. Vivo says the Y32 can handle 24 hours of rain exposure and 3 metres of static water immersion for up to 30 minutes also. It also passed a washing machine tumble test and resisted splashes from 27 different liquids.
The phone comes with an SGS 5-Star drop resistance certification and has also passed military-grade shock testing. It uses SCHOTT Xensation® Up cover glass, while an AirSpring drop-resistant case with four-corner air cushioning is included in the package.
Note that vivo says this is not a professional waterproof phone. The protection isn’t permanent, and liquid damage isn’t covered by warranty. Don’t charge the phone while it’s wet.
Connectivity and other features
For connectivity and other features it includes Dual SIM support, Dual stereo speakers with 400% volume boost, 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 2.0, and Type-C USB port.
Vivo hasn’t revealed the official pricing yet. So, we will have to wait till October 7 to know the official price.
