Redmi 17C 5G arrives in India with a 6.9-inch display, Dimensity 6300, and 50MP camera
Redmi launched the Redmi 17C 5G in India today, which arrived last month in Singapore. This device is a rebranded Redmi 15C and comes with minor upgrades. The Redmi 17C 5G includes key highlights like a large 6.9-inch 120Hz display, Dimensity 6300, HyperOS 3, a 50MP AI main camera, and a 6,000mAh battery. It will be available for sale from 7th October.
Redmi 17C 5G Specifications and Price
Basically, the Redmi 17C 5G is a 5G version of the Redmi 17C 4G. It comes with a large 6.9-inch 120Hz IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution and 810nits of peak brightness. It is 7.99 mm thick and weighs 211g.
The Redmi 17C 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There will be an additional microSD slot for further storage expansion. It runs HyperOS 3, based on Android 16. Redmi promises 2+4 Years of Software Updates
The 17C 5G features a single 50MP AI rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. A large 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging powers this device. Among other features, it includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, IP64, Side-Mounted Fingerprint, and a 3.5mm Jack.
The Redmi 17C 5G comes in black, brown with a vegan leather finish, and purple color options. It is available in the 4GB+128GB variant at INR 20,999 in India.
