Oppo A7 Pro Max launches with Oppo’s first-ever 10,000mAh battery
Oppo has officially launched the A7 Pro Max in China as its latest mid-range smartphone. The biggest highlight is its massive 10,000mAh battery, the largest ever on an Oppo smartphone. The device also features a 120Hz AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, 80W fast charging, and a 50MP selfie camera.
Oppo A7 Pro Max specifications
The Oppo A7 Pro Max features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K (1272 × 2772) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. It also includes an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. Oppo pairs the processor with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Buyers can choose from 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB storage variants.
For photography, the A7 Pro Max packs a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, it features a 50MP autofocus selfie camera.
The smartphone houses a massive 10,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging. Oppo claims the battery can maintain more than 80% of its original capacity after 1,500 charge cycles.
Additionally, the phone carries an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance. It measures 162.98 × 77.97 × 8.57mm and weighs between 224g and 226g, depending on the color option. It comes in three color options: Blur, Orange, and Black.
Oppo A7 Pro Max price and Availability
The Oppo A7 Pro Max starts at CNY 2,199 (around $325) during the pre-order period in China. Pre-orders are currently open, while official sales will begin after August 7.
