Poco X8 bags NBTC and IMDA certifications, key specs tipped
Poco is getting ready to expand its X8 lineup. The upcoming Poco X8 has now appeared on multiple certification platforms, confirming its name ahead of launch. Previous leaks also suggest the phone will debut as a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G.
POCO X8 NBTC and IMDA certification listings
The Poco X8, carrying the model number 2607DPC18G, has received certifications from Thailand’s NBTC and Singapore’s IMDA authorities. The NBTC listing confirms the Poco X8 branding, while the IMDA listing confirms NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 5G connectivity.
The certifications do not reveal the phone’s hardware. However, earlier leaks have already given us a good idea of what to expect.

According to previous reports, the Poco X8 will feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM dimming, and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. The phone could also pack a massive 9,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
Powering the device will likely be the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. For photography, the Poco X8 may offer a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front-facing camera.
Other expected highlights include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, and IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
Besides the Poco X8, Poco is also gearing up to launch the Poco M8 Power. The company has already started teasing the device, and it could debut by the end of this month or in early August.
