Vivo X500 Pro tipped with 2nm Dimensity chip and flagship cameras in a compact design

The Vivo X500 Pro has once again surfaced in the rumor mill, revealing more details about its hardware. According to a new leak from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, Vivo is preparing a compact flagship that combines top-tier performance with a premium camera system.

If the latest information proves accurate, the Vivo X500 Pro could become one of the few compact smartphones that doesn’t compromise on flagship camera hardware.

Vivo X500 Pro specifications tipped

According to the latest leak, the Vivo X500 Pro will feature a compact 6.37-inch display. Under the hood, the smartphone may debut with MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset (2nm processor).

For photography, Vivo may equip the phone with a 50MP primary camera using a large 1/1.28-inch sensor. The sensor is also expected to support LOFIC (Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor) technology. The rear camera setup is further tipped to include a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with an 85mm equivalent focal length. According to the tipster, the telephoto lens may also support macro photography.

Interestingly, the same source claims that all Vivo X500 Pro-series models will feature an 85mm periscope telephoto lens. So, it looks like Vivo is placing a stronger focus on portrait and long-range photography across the lineup.
