Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Leak with 200MP Camera upgrade and Variable aperture

Samsung is reportedly preparing a major camera upgrade for the upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra. A new leak suggests the flagship smartphone could feature a larger 200MP main camera sensor, improved low-light photography, and the return of variable aperture technology.
According to the latest information, the Galaxy S27 Ultra may use a huge 1/1.2-inch 200MP camera sensor. The larger sensor size is expected to capture more light, helping users get better image quality, improved details, and stronger low-light performance.
Samsung could also bring back its mechanical variable aperture system, a feature last seen on the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S10 series. The rumored aperture range is between f/1.4 and f/4.0. This technology allows the camera to adjust automatically depending on lighting conditions, improving both daylight and nighttime photography.
Another important upgrade could be the use of LOFIC sensor technology. This new camera tech is designed to improve dynamic range, making highlights look better while also keeping shadow details clear. It may also help the Galaxy S27 Ultra deliver more balanced photos in difficult lighting conditions.
The leak further claims Samsung may remove the dedicated 3x telephoto camera from the S27 Ultra. Instead, the company could rely on the high-resolution 200MP main camera for zoom shots using sensor crop technology. The rest of the camera setup is expected to include a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto lens.
Samsung appears to be focusing on fewer but more powerful cameras this time. The move could help improve overall image quality while simplifying the camera system.
Although Samsung has not officially confirmed these details, the Galaxy S27 Ultra is already generating attention as one of the most exciting upcoming flagship smartphones. More leaks and official information are expected in the coming months.
