Vivo has officially unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone, the Vivo Y500i 5G, in China. The new device focuses on long battery life, solid performance, and enhanced durability. These features make it an attractive option in its price segment.
Specifications and Features
The Vivo Y500i 5G specs a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth scrolling and a responsive user experience. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (4nm) chipset, which offers efficient performance and improved power management.
One of the device’s biggest highlights is its massive 7,200 mAh battery. This is ideal for users who need extended usage without frequent charging. Despite the large battery, Vivo has managed to keep the phone relatively slim at 8.39mm and light at 219 grams.
In the camera department, the Vivo Y500i 5G features a 50MP rear camera for everyday photography. Meanwhile, the front houses a 5MP selfie camera. The phone runs on OriginOS 6, based on Android, offering Vivo’s latest software features and optimizations.
