Android 16, Big Performance Leap
This marks one of the first Geekbench appearances with Android 16, suggesting Oppo plans to ship the Reno 15 series with Google’s next-generation OS at launch.
The Dimensity 8450 configuration indicates a major upgrade over the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 and 9200-series chips used in older Reno devices, offering stronger single-core speeds and more efficient multi-thread performance.
Expected launch
While the benchmark reveals CPU, RAM, and software, other hardware details, such as display specs, cameras, charging speed, and battery, remain under wraps. Based on past Reno schedules, Oppo could officially tease the Reno 15 series in early 2026.
